EETT performed 11 operations to locate and terminate illegal transmissions in the prefectures of Attica, Argolis and Xanthi from March to April 2014. In particular, as part of the flagrant crimes procedure, the Hellenic Police with the assistance of EETT’s technical experts and in the presence of a judicial officer terminated the operation and confiscated the broadcasting equipment of: Five radio stations broadcasting at 87.5 MHz (two cases), 98.0 MHz, 107.2 MHz and 99.8 MHz in Attica; the «HEART FM» radio station which was broadcasting at 103.5 MHz in Argolis; a radio station which was broadcasting at 88.3 MHz in Attica; two radio broadcasts in Xanthi, «XANTHI DEE JAY» at 90.6 MHz and «KRAL» at 107.8 MHz (beyond the allowed FM broadcast band); a radio carrier signal transmission (without audio content) at 91.0 MHz in Xanthi; a TV broadcast at channel 68, beyond the allowed band for analog TV broadcasting, in Attica.
